The winners of The Tax Adviser’s 2012 Best Article Award are Michael F. Lynch, J.D., CPA, professor of tax accounting and director of graduate tax studies at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., and a practicing attorney in Providence, R.I.; David B. Casten, J.D., LL.M., CPA, a practicing attorney in Providence and an adjunct professor at the Boston University School of Law Graduate Tax Program; and David Beausejour, J.D., CPA, a professor of tax accounting at Bryant University and a practicing attorney in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, for their article, “Now Is the Time: Converting a C Corporation to an S Corporation or LLC,” in the August 2012 issue.
The best article was chosen by The Tax Adviser’s Editorial Advisory Board from among the articles published in The Tax Adviser from January through December 2012. It was selected for its usefulness, practicality, and readability.
