The Tax Adviser 2019 Best Article Award

The winners of The Tax Adviser’s 2019 Best Article Award are Amy J.N. Yurko, J.D., Ph.D.; Christine Cheng, Ph.D.; and Cheryl T. Metrejean, Ph.D., for their article, “The Marriage Tax Penalty Post-TCJA,” which appeared in the June 2019 issue.

Yurko is an assistant professor of accounting at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Cheng is an assistant professor of accountancy at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss. Metrejean is a clinical associate professor of accountancy at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss.

The best article was chosen by The Tax Adviser’s editorial advisory board from among the articles published in The Tax Adviser from January through December 2019. It was selected for its usefulness, practicality, and readability. The Tax Adviser staff and the AICPA congratulate the authors on winning the Best Article award.
